Survivor Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites is the fourth season of Skydog's Survivor series. The season features 10 former players competing against 10 new players fighting for the title of Sole Survivor.
Announcement/Production
Season 4: Caramoan began production on February 15th, 2014, when the Season 4 Auditions video was uploaded to YouTube. 20 players: 10 fans and 10 favorites were casted for this season.
Twists/Changes
Fans vs. Favorites: This season features 10 fans competing against 10 favorites. The Favorites tribe was made up of Malcolm, Brad Culpepper, Rob C., Brendan, Marty, Candice, Kelly, Parvati, Monica and Kim. The Fans tribe consisted of Reynold, Penner, John Cody, Erik Huffman, Michael Jefferson, RC, Angie, Scout, Amber and Ashley.
First Tribe Swap: Following the first four tribal councils, a tribe swap occurred on Day 11. The new Airai tribe consisted of: Reynold, Angie, Rob, Brad, Malcolm, Scout, Marty, and Kelly. The new Bikal tribe consisted of: Parvati, Michael, John Cody, Kim, Brendan, Monica, Ashley, and Erik Huffman.
Mutiny Offer: On Day 16, the castaways were offered to mutiny from their current tribe. Only Malcolm Freberg and Brad Culpepper mutinied from Airai to Bikal, thus giving Bikal the numbers advantage 8-6.
Second Tribe Swap: On Day 20, the castaways participated in ANOTHER tribe swap. The new Airai tribe consisted of: Reynold, Scout, Michael, Brad, and Kim. The new Bikal tribe consisted of: Rob, Brendan, Kelly, Malcolm, John, and Monica.
Merge: On Day 25, Bikal and Airai merged at nine castaways, and formed the Enil Edam tribe. The Enil Edam tribe consisted of: Reynold, Scout, Michael, John, Rob, Kelly, Monica, Kim, and Brendan.
Tie-Breaker Idol: Following Scout's elimination after Michael played his hidden immunity idol on John, a new merge idol was planted into the game: the Tie-Breaker idol. This idol is just like any regular idol, except it can be used if the person holding the idol is involved in a tie. This idol is also good up until the Final 5.
